What is an Uncompensated Pump? 

CADY - Was bought in @ ¢.29, so made a little profit, it did spike today, so good that I was bought in. When I receive the notice that I might be getting bought in I try to cover ASAP, reason being if everyone that shorted this gets the same notice and they get bought in or they cover the price will spike.

AXIH - SMIKE - Nothing on twitter or other "research" locales, looks good for an entry @ ¢.80ish. CSTI @ ¢.83 15k

KGTO - BAP - Big jump at the open then came down, never found shares to short but am keeping order open in case they come up

CDXC - BNC - Bounce from previous day, almost an engulfing candle (the days cancel each other out) WFGD

BANJ - SMIKE - Pumped back on the 16th, nothing out there for the SMIKE reason, looks to make the SPR list

AVXL - BNC - Previous day dump of ¢.10ish, bouncing from that, might have another green day

LPAD - SMIKE - ¢.10 SMIKE, no pumping, no news, little to no tweets

TQLA - BAP - Nice promo driven spike early in the day, watched some serious bid whacking with a wall @ ¢.22 on a 20k order that took what looked like twice that before the number went down, took some shares at ¢.22 ...might be early 

GFOX - BNC - 5 day dump should have a day or so of green to short into
GFOX FILES Form 8-k if you read this notice how many words are used like future, planning, forward

WTER - SMIKE - Not lots out there on the reason for the SMIKE, closed on the high of the day so will watch tomorrow for weakness to start a position

LIVE - This is a NASDAQ stock but I received a hard mailer for it yesterday, scroll down and you will see it. Pumping is not just for Penny Stocks!

KGTO - BAP - New ticker, will be pumped starting tomorrow.. keeping an eye on it

Watchlist from yesterday still valid and working off that.

BRPC turning into a spread trade, looking to make an easy and safe ¢.05 tomorrow.

All four of my positions are still well within my rules of entry even though I usually do not have this many positions open and for this long....Patience is the key ..... called "Zen Trading" for a reason..

4/22/14 - Watchlist

Will be out for most of the morning, if not all of it... 

Good time to bring up one of my unwritten rules:
If the ticker is not on my watchlist I DO NOT TRADE IT. Each trade I make 99% of the time is research, the charts, the promos, the actual company, it's history, entry point, exit point etc etc. If I can not get all that done for a ticker then I do not trade it, no matter how GREAT it looks.
That being said these are the positions I have open and what I am thinking:

RIHT : ¢.47 - Waiting for the break down of ¢.50, will add if spikes above ¢.50. When I got in ¢.50 was showing good resistance.

CADY : ¢.31 - Gapped up on the 8th from ¢.24 to ¢.27, waiting for the gap to fill.

BRPC : ¢.86 - Only filled half of what I wanted, thin on both sides right now, again chart is "gappy" from the 8th and 9th. Still residual bouncing buyers from the dump on the 14th.

ENRT : ¢.34 - Got shares when MM BKMM pulled fake bid @ ¢.35 mid day, will add if need be but will have red days than green this week

How are your weekends? Do you ever have any off?

Holidays? Can't request those days off can you because everyone else already requested them a year ago.

What about making plans with family and friends, ever get called in when you thought you were going somewhere else? Thought you had the night to go out because you were opening then get switched to a close?

What about calling out? You ever go in sick, you go in because your manager told you that you are the only one today, you get sicker, you get sick from someone that should have called out (or tried) and came in anyway?

What are you working for? Going to became a manager?
Numbers for ya : a retail chain with 1000 stores has about 250,000 employees (very rough guess here), how many of those employees that have been with the company longer want the same job you want... then they hire someone from a DIFFERENT retailer.

And take a look at your manager .... you really want to end up like that .. unfortunately most are out of shape, alcoholics, drug users and/or having affairs, getting divorced.

Start doing something better NOW.

I was in retail management for over 10 years. I never planned on staying that long, they "suck" you in. You get good to great benefits (medical, 401k, etc), they provide training, the only thing you have to give in return is your soul. The retailers that I worked for are GREAT American companies and make up huge sectors of their markets, I am grateful for the careers that I had with each of them. However, I missed to many things that have to do with family and the time I had with my family I was very really turned "off" from the store, I hope to be able to "save" at least one person from retail life.

AHII - SMIKE - Was pumped up ¢.10 on Thursday, like this for a position anywhere above ¢.80

DRMC - BAP - Was Darth Trader's pump o' the day on Thursday, 25k of prints went through pre market, taking all the shares available to short from IB! Nice move on their part, they guaranteed that they controlled some of the shares maybe not the whole ax but a part of it. Watching for shares to come up and at what price level to enter.

KRED - SMIKE - Might spike another day and create an opportunity in a day or so

MVTG - SMIKE - pump and dumpy looking chart, closed on the high, break out above ¢.50 would give another push up and more room to short

ENRT - BNC - Pretty well promoted then dumped a few times, over the past months, actually the last promo seems to have been put in place to only dump. Has bounced with 2 green days, figure lots of people that bought on the way down will be looking to sell on any upward movement so will dump again soon. BKMM has 40k @ ¢.35 on the bid and 10k on the ask @ ¢.46, closed @ ¢.39, either BKMM has the shares from the last promoter on the insiders are using the MM to dump their shares.

CVSL - SMIKE - Needs to go one way or the other, patience on this entry, ¢.50 has proven solid support, waiting for it to crack and try to get shares when it does or let it spike and slide back to ¢.50. If it does spike will only want to play the safe way and take profits above ¢.50 and not risk the bounce off it.

BRPC - BNC - Nice green day today, closed on the high, so waiting for a FRED or weak green day. $1 might be the ceiling for it

DRMC - BAP - Getting pumped by a gang of pumpers, looks like they will be pushing it on Thursday  also, will get in when shares are available 

Darth Trader coming out with new pump at the open....

USBL - Uncompensated pump

USBL went up thousands of percent points yesterday....

WHY?

Because it was promoted, the company did not pay a pumper to promote it. It is what is called an uncompensated pump. The promoter found the stock and for various reasons decided to send out emails promoting and touting the ticker, it shot up! The ticker is basically a shell, no movement for a LONG time, still can be traded but has not been active. The promoter might have know about this ticker and then used a catalyst along with their emails to send it supernova...I did see a picture of a basketball player on the floor of NYSE yesterday on twitter...just saying.....

Why would the promoter do this and not get paid by the company... just to show that they can move a stock. They will use this ticker on their website, emails and when trying to get business for paid promotions. They will say "Our last pick went up over 1000%!!" . Now when they say that they are calculating from the exact bottom to the exact top. Which nobody, Nobody, NObody, NOBODY hit both the bottom and top, if they said they did they are lying, ask to see the trade...LOL. The promoter doesn't even get in at the bottom and out at the top, they are in the stock way before and out with safe profits when they see that all the shares are out of their hands and they can not manipulate the price anymore. In this case not even sure the promoter had shares, again this was done just for branding their service in the future.

As an uncompensated pump I stay away because there is no manipulation to the point that you can discern a pattern, all it is home traders getting hits on their scanners on volume and price movement and jumping in and chasing. They then set stop losses and when one hits the rest start to trigger and the stock dumps and panics.

I have my trades logged on a Google Drive Spreadsheet, most of them have a screen shot of the chart of the ticker of the day I shorted it. I started the spreadsheet because I realized I was trading the same ticker a few times, so this gave me a quick way to see what I had done. HPTG - SMIKE - Shorted this today @ an average of ¢.46, appears that I am early, was ETB @ IB. I was watching as tried to break out past ¢.50 and failed there is resistance @ ¢.50 tonight on L2 CSTI 12.8k, so I really like this for a drop

AHII - BNC - Bouncing after its HUGE dump, the candles and the chart scream for a RED day...now.  As it is close to $1 @ ¢.93 it has the resistance to stay under after slower volume day like today. There are some tweets about this one, more than I usually like so will be watching to see if it does test that $1 and might wait for the next dump and bounce.

Again, am busy all this week, so am off and on my terminal, questions drop me an email or tweet is better. Actually trying to get my positions all flat and to cash but I keep finding tickers to short!

SPCL - BAP - Gap at the open from 3 days ago when it was pumped, gap has to fill, ask thinner than the bid, might try to get shares in the mid ¢.80's.

GANK - SMIKE - Thin Level 2, green day today, did not break out above ¢.50, was only shortable in the afternoon at IB, but I was watching something else. If possible will grab some shares early and hold for the weekend.

RIHT - BAP/SMIKE - One green day today, finished on the high with volume, will be a mid day break down if not propped up by some pumper

SOUL - BAP - Still holding above ¢.50, but the rug will get pulled soon and it will dump, there are stop losses in the upper to mid ¢.40's that will send it down
